REVIEW OF MY BOBBY BROWN BRUSHES

Hello lovelies, sorry for the long hiatus again. I'm back this time. I PROMISE. I hope to be posting regularly now. Trying to decide a schedule. So on to the post. I got these amazzzzing bobby brown brushes last month and trust me my elf brushes dont come close to these babies. I got them in Yaba market (Truth be told. Yeah some wonderful stuff could be bought in that place) for a ridiculously cheap amount. Would tell you the price at the end of this post so keep reading.  I got the powder brush and a blending brush.

THE BOBBY BROWN POWDER BRUSH: This brush is like the softest, most amazing powder brush ever. Its really dense (I hate scanty brushes). It packs on just the right amount of powder. And one thing that stands out for me is the way it feels against my skin. It had this luxury feel to it. I love the design as well. The handle is long and sturdy. Doesn't look like something that's going to break on you. And one more thing, this brush doesn't shed at all. I tried pulling some hairs out and nothing came off. Yeah inquisitive me. Lol. If you want a very good powder brush thats cheap and doesnt have that annoying scratchy feeling, you should totally get this.

BOBBY BROWN BLENDING BRUSH: I love love loveee this brush. Its soo good. Its perfect for blending eyeshadow for that perfect smokey eye. Its really soft and dense as well. I also use it for contouring my cheeks. It gets into the hollows of my cheekbone really well. I also use it for apply highlighter on my nose. Its blends the powder well. No harsh lines especially when you take a picture. This brush doesn't shed at all.

PRICE: I got this for the ridiculous amount of 400 naira a piece. Yes ooo. 4H. So hurry to Yaba or Balogun market to get yours. And by the way, no fronting.

SONG OF THE MOMENT: Kari Jobe - Find you on my knees. A lovely song especially if you are going through hard times.

TIP OF THE DAY: Throw in your old perfume bottles among your clothes. It would keep them smelling fresh.

Please do leave comments or any questions or suggestions. They are highly appreciated. And tell a friend to tell a friend. I would be doing a giveaway soon. Fingers crossed.  Kisses and have a great day.

Latest haul: MAC lippies

Hey dolls, hope everyone's fine and well. First of, i am so sorry for my long hiatus. I had to round up with school and so now that I'm done I promise you guys regular posts and reviews. Ok back to the matter * lol*. I am a huge makeup and cosmetic junkie and through this blog I hope to share my love for beauty with you all while having a little fun at the same time. What's life without a little fun?

Over the past few months, I have been on a major makeup buying spree and I hope to give honest reviews some of the items I got. However I would do this in batches. Now on to the review.

MAC GIRL ABOUT TOWN: We all know MAC is like the Beyonce of Make up. Whatever that means. Lol. But in the makeup world they are king. I particularly love their lipsticks. They just feel good on my lips. None of that heavy feeling I detest. GIRL ABOUT TOWN is a dark pink creme lipstick. It is not matte. It Is really moisturising. It goes well with a well contoured face and lined eyes. I am still experimenting with this lippie though. It's suitable for an everyday look as well as for that time you need to turn up.
CONS of this lippie however is that it due to its creme nature it tends to slide on my lips because I have really smooth lips. But creme lipstick lovers should totally jump on this.

MAC PINK PLAID: I was gifted this lipstick by my friend for my birthday and do I love this lipstick? ABSOLUTELY.  It is my best lipstick for everyday wear right now. It  is a lovely nudish pink matte lippie and it greatly saddens me that I hardly see reviews or raves about this lippie online. I am here to remedy this though. If you love nude lips, you should totally get this. It gives a lovely nude lip without that ghostly look. It goes well with warm and cool toned skins (in makeup it is very important to be able to differentiate between warm and cool toned skins. Expect a blog post on this soon.
CONS of this lippie is that it could feel a tad bit dry. Just make sure to apply a little lip balm first. Also make sure to line lips first. And step out looking like a million bucks.
Luv this lippie♥♥♥

Please do leave your comments and questions. I would answer them all. Stay beautiful. Xoxo.
